Simply fantastic place! I am right down the street and I explained to one of the staff that I was killing time because my neighbor was doing work on his car window downstairs and I wanted to get away and wait to the noise went away. I told her I was going to stop in for a couple beers; it was before 4:00 and she let me in early. Super nice! Thank you. Extremely friendly staff. Damn good neighborhood pub! I'll definitely come back.. Lest forgetting 4 genny pints
A very cool neighborhood bar. The bartender, Calvin, was super friendly. He gave us a brief history of the place. The food was quite tasty and reasonably priced.

The bartendrrs are really friendly and make you like you're a regular. Bonus: a pool table(no charge) and lots of tables to play games or fet a bunch of friends together. Foois good. Burgers are BIG. Try the Reuben!!!
Honestly my favorite place in Rochester. Good food and local neighborhood bar feel. Its a relic of a bygone time in a perfect way.
Love this quaint pub! Matt was a great host and the food was delicious. He was so open to suggestions for some of the vegan food we ordered - poutine, buffalo tofu bites and vegan nachos with jackfruit. We suggested adding more of a hot sauce or vegan queso to the nachos and he welcomed the suggestion so openly. Their poutine veggie gravy is so so delicious! You’ve gotta try it.
Speaking specifically about the fish fry I think it's one of the best in the area. It's larger than most that I've seen. Choice of Batter or breading both are very good. Actually better than good. Nothing fancy just a very nice size fish fry and I think the price is good too. Under 15 bucks. For a piece of fish that size that's rare and I'm pretty sure it's really had a too.
